flwz is designed for professional services teams of 5–200 people — consulting firms, IT companies, engineering offices, design agencies, and any organization that plans resources across projects, tracks time, and invoices clients. Yes. flwz supports English and German out of the box. Every user can switch between languages independently. All labels, menus, reports, and invoice templates adapt automatically. Additional languages can be added on request.
Does flwz work on mobile devices?
Absolutely. flwz has a fully responsive mobile interface optimized for phones and tablets. Time tracking, project hours, absences, and the dashboard are all accessible via a native-feeling bottom tab bar — no app install required. Works in any modern browser.
Features
What business models does flwz support?
flwz supports three deal types: Time & Material (hourly billing), Fixed Price (milestone-based billing with payment schedules), and Software & Services (license reselling, maintenance contracts, commissions). All three follow the same CRM pipeline — Lead, Opportunity, Offer, Project — with type-specific invoicing at the end.
How does invoicing work?
flwz generates invoices from tracked hours with one click. It supports four invoice types: T&M (from time entries), Fixed Price (from milestones), License, and Maintenance. Multi-entity support means you can invoice from different legal entities with their own letterheads, bank details, and tax rules. PDFs are generated automatically and can be sent via email directly from the app.
Does flwz handle CRM and sales?
Yes. flwz includes a full CRM pipeline with Kanban board: Leads → Opportunities → Offers → Projects. You can manage contacts and touchpoints, create offers with line items, and convert won deals into active projects automatically — including team assignments, features, and budgets.
Can I manage multiple legal entities?
Yes. flwz supports multiple legal entities (e.g. subsidiaries or regional offices), each with their own letterhead, bank details, VAT numbers, and invoice styles. Intercompany billing rates are configurable per entity pair.
What integrations are available?
flwz offers a REST API for automation via Power Automate, Zapier, or custom scripts. Built-in integrations include SharePoint (document linking), SFTP (automated backups), and SMTP (email delivery for invoices and notifications). The API is fully documented and extensible.
How flexible is the permission system?
Very. flwz has a granular role-based permission system with 21+ individual access controls across all modules — planning, projects, employees, customers, financials, invoicing, absences, time tracking, and system administration. You can configure exactly who can view, edit, or approve what. Three role templates (Admin, Manager, User) are included as starting points, but every permission can be adjusted per user.
Pricing & Plans
How does pricing work?
flwz uses a simple base fee + per-user model. The base fee (starting at €19/month for Starter) covers the platform and one admin. Additional users are charged per role: Standard users from €3.90/month, Managers from €7.90/month, additional Admins from €5.90/month. All features are always included — no per-module upselling.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days free on the Professional plan, no credit card required. You can also launch our read-only demo instantly to explore every feature before signing up.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Your data is always preserved regardless of plan changes.
Can I host flwz on my own servers?
Yes. Our Enterprise plan includes a self-hosted option. flwz runs on any standard PHP 8+ server with MySQL/MariaDB — no complex infrastructure, containers, or cloud dependencies required. We provide deployment documentation and support.
Data & Security
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL). Each customer gets a fully isolated database — your data is never mixed with other tenants. We support multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based permissions with 21+ individual access controls, and complete audit logging of all changes. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.
Where is my data stored?
All customer data is hosted on servers in Germany (Hetzner, Nuremberg datacenter) — fully within the EU. We do not use any US-based cloud services for data storage. Your data never leaves the European Union.
Is flwz GDPR compliant?
Yes. flwz is built and operated by Lakewood Consulting & Ventures GmbH, registered in Austria. All data processing happens within the EU. We don't use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. No data is shared with third parties. Our privacy policy is transparent and available on this website.
Can I export my data?
Yes, at any time. flwz provides full SQL and CSV export of your entire database — employees, projects, time entries, invoices, everything. You own your data and can take it with you. Automated SFTP backups can also be configured to run on a schedule.
Can I migrate from Excel or other tools?
Yes. We provide CSV import for employees, projects, and customers. Our team can also assist with data migration from tools like Jira, Harvest, Clockify, Toggl, and others. Contact us for a free migration assessment.
